What to look for in intercompany invoicing software in Illinois

Intercompany invoicing is where month-end goes to die: manual recharges, mismatched entities and no clean audit trail. PlaidCloud generates and posts intercompany invoicing and operational transfer pricing across systems, with validation and reconciliation built into the workflow rather than bolted on afterwards. This site focuses on the intercompany boundary: operational transfer pricing and the invoicing mechanics that follow it. Both live or die on evidence, so PlaidCloud calculates from governed source data, keeps the lineage behind every figure, and produces the reconciliation and audit trail as a by-product of running the process rather than as a year-end exercise.

If you are running this every period rather than once a year: check entity, currency and tax coverage, write-back into the ERPs on both sides, and whether audit evidence is produced automatically per invoice.

What to evaluate

• Volume and frequency — whether the process survives at scale
• Automatic validation and reconciliation before posting
• Entity, currency, and tax treatment coverage
• Write-back into the ERPs on both sides of the transaction
• Audit evidence for every generated invoice
